With currently close to 650 corporate members the team of altogether 35+ colleagues is spread across six offices in six countries.
This position is located either in Dubai or in Abu Dhabi.
Starting from June 2024, the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK)
aims at adding a full-time consultant to its DEinternational team. The new colleague is in charge
for developing the German business outreach to the Pakistani Market.
About the position
- Monitoring the market with its potentials, and developing/enlarging the existing network into the Pakistani business community (database, incl. institutional partners like chambers of commerce and associations).
- Developing a database of basic, relevant market information and expertise.
- Nurturing and developing partnerships with all relevant German institutions and organizations operating in Pakistan, incl. the German Missions and Germany Trade and Invest.
- Responding to inquiries from German companies (such as related to market developments, partner search, market access, etc.) and business organizations, and contributing to Pakistan-related events and activities.
- Acquisition and implementation of Pakistan-related projects.
Required qualifications
For this position we are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated personality with entrepreneurial spirit. Led by the AHK management team, a largely independent development of the Pakistani- German business relations is required.Naturally, the willingness to regularly travel to Pakistan is a key necessity for any successful candidate. Fluent English skills are a must, additional advanced knowledge of German and/or Urdu is a strong asset.
